Singapore, September 30, 2013 - Fuji Electric Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. announced today that it is expanding its global lineup of the FRENIC-Mini Series of compact inverters.
1. Target
In the global market, the average annual market growth rate of compact inverters is about 12%,*1 and Fuji Electric anticipates continued robust growth in this segment.
The FRENIC-Mini Series has been very well received by customers due to its compact size and ease of operation. Now the series has undergone a full model change to realize the same high level of control performance as more advanced models, making it suitable for use with a greater range of products.
This product satisfies global standards such as CE and UL*2 and is positioned for global expansion due to its expanded range of rated voltage.

2. Features
(1) Expanded Application Range
Fuji Electric’s proprietary technology of dynamic torque-vector control enables high power output as soon as the motor is started up. This makes it possible to expand into applications that were not possible until now, such as centrifuges and guided vehicles.
(2) Simple Operation of Output Frequency
The operation knob makes it easy to change the output frequency without the use of external devices.
(3) Centralized Control via Network Connection
The standard network functions (Modbus-RTU and Fuji standard inverter protocols) make it possible to centralize the control of multiple inverters.
(4) Complete Compatibility with the Conventional Product
The external dimensions, terminal positions and such are the same as the conventional product. Also, the model code used for commanding the execution program has been continued as well, making it easy to interchange products.
